Black & white reticulated gargoyles
Our developing project: gargoyle geckos with crisp, high-contrast reticulated patterns in black, white and grey. It's a long-term project, built one careful pairing at a time.
Crested & Gargoyle Geckos · Central Florida
Where snow meets fire. Thoughtfully bred geckos, raised with care.
Snowfire Geckos is a small, family-run gecko project in Central Florida, focused on crested geckos and gargoyle geckos.
We keep our collection small on purpose, so every animal gets real attention. Welfare comes first: our babies stay with us until they are eating well, growing steadily, and ready for a new home. We'd rather wait a little longer than send out a gecko before it's ready.
We love answering questions, whether you're picking out your first gecko or adding to your collection.
Our first babies aren't ready yet. Follow us for first availability, or email to join the interest list.
Our developing project: gargoyle geckos with crisp, high-contrast reticulated patterns in black, white and grey. It's a long-term project, built one careful pairing at a time.
Built around our harlequin pair from Murph's Morphs: Samson (male) and Rainbow (female). Both have cream-yellow backs and crests over dark blue-grey sides, with cream harlequin patterning reaching up the laterals. Harlequin is a polygenic, line-bred look, so we select for clean, high-coverage pattern over generations.
We will be pairing Mochi, our Lilly White male, with Pepper, our 2025 AC Reptiles female. She's a Super Empty Back with Whiteout and Soft Scale. The goal is clean, bright-white, plain-backed crested geckos.
Crested and gargoyle geckos have similar needs. Here's the short version.
Feed a complete gecko diet such as Repashy or Pangea, mixed fresh every 2–3 days. Gut-loaded insects are a nice extra, and gargoyles especially enjoy them.
Aim for about 72–78°F. Avoid temperatures over 82°F, since overheating is dangerous. Night drops into the high 60s are fine.
Mist in the evening so humidity reaches about 60–80%, then let it dry out during the day. That wet-dry cycle helps with shedding and prevents mold.
These are arboreal geckos, so use a vertical enclosure with plenty of branches, cork and foliage to climb and hide in.
This is a general guide. Ask us anytime about your own gecko's setup.
